Blessing Box
Blessing Boxes are small food pantries which provide easy access to non-perishable food. They are an important part of our community’s food safety net, allowing people to get the food they need when they have no other resources. Families with children are more likely to experience food insecurity when they lose access to school meals during summer and many turn to local blessing boxes to supplement their family’s food supply.
FCC Wellington’s Blessing Box was established in March 2024 through the generosity of the Wellington Lion’s Club and FCC Disciples Men’s Fellowship. The box is located on the west side of the church along Jefferson.
